! We are having a Ladies' "Retreat" except it is going to be on site at our church. We're not going anywhere. What do you call a Retreat that is not retreating anywhere? A conference? Conference sounds so formal. Any s?

you can call it a Ladies day out. Another one Ladies day retreat. Mini Retreat. Hope these help

I always like "Fellowship". Since you are not retreating, how about re-charging? Let us know what you come up with. There is something special about women getting together to worship the Lord! Enjoy!

Oooh! I really like "Recharge!" That's a great idea.
Depending on the theme, you could just give it a fun name. We did an evening of testimonies, fellowship and dinner. We called it "Soup, Salad & Say-So"
Psalm 107:2 Let the redeemed of the LORD say so, whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy;
We had a great time of wonderful testimonies of women sharing about God's redemption in their lives.

| I don't know if you are just having it for one day or a couple. One time we had a 2 day seminar at the church, we all went to our homes at night...we called it " It's a Jesus and Me Weekend" |

I really liked the name LIFT!!! I think you could really create some
interesting ideas from this name. I am thinking of changing our Ladies
Prayer group to this name> It really spoke to me!!! Thanks!!! |
