Hello, my name is Lori. I live in Georgia with my husband of 8 years and our 6 year old son. My husband and I have been called to start a church in Montana. We are going up on Labor Day weekend, to visit and see where the real need for a good church is going to be. We are going to be looking at several small cities. I am a stay at home mom, trying to finish up on my Master's degree in teaching.
I am so excited about chatting with other ladies, who are serving with their husbands in ministries that the Lord has called them into. |

Welcome! Our new youth pastor is from Montana. He says there's a real need for solid churches there. I pray God will place you exactly where you need to be! _________________ Rejoice in the Lord always, and again I say, rejoice! Philippians 4:4 |

We are going to be looking around the Miles City area. We know that the eastern side of the state has a lower cost of living than on the western side. So this is part of the reason why we will be looking east of Billings. We were told about a church in Lodge Grass that needs a pastor. We were warned about the law and order problems that are in that area, due to the indian reservation. We are not sure about this. My husband really feels that for right now, maybe we should stay away from that area.
We are just waiting on the Lord to show us, when we go out and visit. I am not one to just jump into a situation, without really praying about it. My husband has had to learn from me on this, since we have been married. I know that there are many pastors who have gone into areas that someone else would not go, and the Lord has blessed them. I know that God is going to show us, exactly where to go, when we get there.
Keep us in your prayers. Thanks |

Hi Lori!
Welcome...this is a wonderful place to come each day! I've told lots of other ladies here that this is like my personal retreat. I just love it.
I'll be praying here in Pennsylvania that God directs your path!

| Hi Lori - Welcome! I, too am a pastor's wife. We had served out in Oregon for a couple of years, and that is one of the most unchurched areas of the country. There were some good sized churches, though. However, it is hard to serve in a church when many of the people are totally unchurched. There are good and bad things. My husband parents, his sister and brother-in-law and other sister and nephew live in Missoula, MT (very expensive town now). It is absolutely beautiful and I would LOVE to live there. Churches seemed to be few and far between though! I hope and pray for God's direction in all of this! Tess |
