I love this message board particularly for the reason that when requests are made women are praying for you and they don't have to know every detail. The Lord knows exactly what they prayers that are being sent for you are for. Praying that God has given you comfort and answers for your need. My main issue is trying to gain employment. This is the third year that I have been searching for a teaching position. I keep working to make myself a bit better but haven't seen any results in the job search. On top of this there are smaller issues that have come to a head in our house. It's so difficult to try to hold it all together. I've found that when I try to do that in my own strength it all falls apart. Lean on God's mighty strength. We hear it said all the time that when we get to the end of the rope we should tie a knot & hold on with all our might. But in reality, God wants us to let go of that rope & turn it all over to Him. The tighter we hold on to our struggles, the more tired & discouraged we become. That's not what God wants for us. "Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the LORD thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee." Deuteronomy 31:6 "Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths." Prov. 3:5-6 "We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed..." 2 Cor. 4:8-9 I'm praying for you to find the job that God wants you to have, and that you will be encouraged in His love today! I'll also keep your home in my prayers.
