This is a hand painted and design mural that I am working on with another lady at my church. We are both in the music ministry of our church she is the adult choir director as well as bells . I do the childrens choir. This is going down the nursery hall way. Thought I share . This is a link to an album. I hope that is ok to post.

Just wanted to update you all. When I went to church on sunday the wall just pops out at you . It so fun to see. I will be updating the photos as we get going. This specila project is the 7 days of creation. It wil go down the whole hall way on both sides. As I paint I foget the pain in my arm for awhile so its nice. I am so excited as I see it progress. We are trying to go for more realism than cartoon. So we will see how close we get. Do you all think it is looking more real then cartoon. I thought I ask Its always nice to get someone elses oppinion.

Hi Doreen!
I think it looks really cool...can't wait to see more pics! What a great idea!!! Don't those white walls just get so boring!!!! I think it's wonderful that you are doing this even with a hurt shoulder! Good for you!

The fiesta dog is the marker. The reason for that is my vbs friends on another message board. I thought it would be a fun marker. To say look for the fiesta dog to see the newest pictures. This way I can keep tack too. It is coming out so amazing . yesterday I got goose bumps up and down and in my heart when I step back to look at the stars I painted. The Lord is holding my hands in his as I paint .

Your mural is beautiful!
We worked on making replicas of creation with the kids at church - and the thing I was reminded of how miraculous and creative our Father is. If it takes us hours just to make a tiny PICTURE of something He made, how much more miraculous is it that He could SPEAK all things into existence in only 6 days. And not only that, but that He put the ability & desire into us to be be creative like Him.
Have fun... and remember what a Creative God we serve!

The seventh day God look at what he made and said it is finished and was very pleased. So that is why the mural is called the seven days of creation. So we are having a scene on the doors at the end of the hall of a beach scene. That way it looks restfull. Fun part is putting the scripture of rest on the painting.
I just posted new pictures as well.

No my shoulder is not better. I don't have to paint with my left arm so it works to paint the wall. The pain get really bad some but when I paint I can't feel the pain for a little while. We have been paining up to 4 hours a day or less.
I have another doctor visit this friday. I love using my talent for the Lord
