We have just learned that she has pretty advanced breast cancer. With treatment and surgery she has been given 40% chance of survival by her doctor. She is trying to stay positive and believes God for his will. As a side note, I just want to mention that she is part of a small group of ladies who have just recently began coming together and seeking God in prayer for spiritual growth in our church. God has blessed our chuch with growth and we are at a point where we need to press on to the next level spiritually as well. Since the ladies began meeting several of us have come against some sort of opposition...things in our personal lives that could be a distraction. When this kind of thing happens I feel like the enemy is just trying to block us from something great God wants to do, so please remember us in your prayers. sorry this was so long!
