Hi There, My name is Marla and I have recently found the forum after hours and hours on this site. I have gained so much information from Julia and have put it to great use in our Ladies Group. Our Pastors wife used to do the ladies meetings and they were just regular meetings(eat snacks, have a bible study, pray). And while she did a great job of Bible Study the meetings lacked a little something. She really wanted someone else to do the meetings and I started praying about it... Well In January I took over the meetings. The first one was on the Proverbs 31 woman and we did it as a retreat at the Hotel that I manage(of course I gave us great rates!!) It was a huge success and she asked if we wanted to start doing every meeting. Let me tell you, I have never had so much fun! We of course are borrowing Julia's ideas and then running with them. I am probably running out of room here......so let me tell you that I am 41 yrs old.....married 18 years... and have 3 children ages 17-14-11. We stay VERY busy. Like I said...I manage a hotel and love my job. My church family is very close and I love doing the ladies ministry. Im glad to be here......hope theres room for one more.
