I am not sure of what this ministry entails, but I love the concept. Could you give me an overview of what you do and what you hope to do? I'd love to help "incubate" solutions.

Welcome aboard. You will love this site. I am not sure exactly how to help you. We do not have a book club ministry exactly. We have a ladies meeting each month. We trade books there. We have a lot of ladies who love to read. If we have read a book or some other Christian material that has blessed us in some way we bring it in. Anyone who wants to read it is welcome to borrow it and bring it back to the next meeting.

Sorry it took me so long to respond... We are focusing on a book that speaks to the inner spirit of the woman... THere questions at the end of each chapter so the women need to keep a journal handy to write a reflection based around the questions at the end of the chapter. We will once a month...

Dear SpiritFed, what a wonderful way to keep your spirits fed! I would suggest asking the ladies who are getting their journals completed to share their tips with the group...and for those who are struggling with the time "juggling" to share their frustrations so that you can make suggestions. Be sure to emphasize that it is the time and energy spent on the meditation of His word that bring pleasure to the Father. (There won't be a report card involved.) Also it is interesting to notice the writing styles involved in the Bible and how God used the various styles to get His message out to us. Bless you for making this opportunity a reality for your ladies!
