My name is Shirley. I live in Northeast Arkansas. I am the event coordinator at our church.I have been using creativeladies ministry ideas for quite some time now for the functions at our church.Hoping to get to know all of you and get even more ideas to use for our banquets and theme dinners.

Thanks for the welcome.Am looking forward to any input on decorating from everyone. I have to decorate for a dinner at our church for the 25th of this month.The "Theme" is Western.Do any of you ladies have some good ideas? Would appreciate any input. I have red cloth tablecloths that my sister has made me.Buffet style for food table,dessert table and coffee table,they all are skirted. On these tables I am putting western looking runners down these three tables.(I bought western material and made the runners) On the tables that people sit at I am making placemats out of the same western material to put on the red tablecoths I have for them. I went in on the computer on one of my programs and made up some western signs with western words added. I need center pieces for all the tables. Any ideas ladies? Thanks in advance for any help!

I think this is something I have seen before - fill cowboy boots with black-eyes susans or sunflowers, or some other "field" type large flower (or flower arrangement of your choice). You could also use potted cactus for centerpieces. I really like the cowboy boots, though - they look very nice! " border="0" />

Hello Nikki, Thank you for your welcome.I needed some ideas for centerpieces and I asked the ladies if they could help.Bethany gave me a good idea about cowboy boots but I could not find any with out buying them so I went with another ladies advice on using mason jars with flowers in them and rafata tyed around rim.I've made up ten of them so far.They look very western.
