Like everyone else we are doing a Mother Daughter Banquet. I am doing "His Eye is on the Sparrow" I am looking for some ideas - I'm planning on using birdhouses, etc.
Does anyone know of a game that is in a paragraph form (story form) that uses the names of bird throughout the story? You have to circle the bird - for instances - card. I nal.....
I would appreciate any help!

Hi Denee,
I don't think I have heard of a game like that but I have some notes somewhere on that theme. Don't think I have that theme on the website but I'll look in my files and see what I can find. One idea is to play one of those nature tapes with birds chirping before your banquet.

Hey Denee , I love your theme idea . I love birds so I thought I would try and write you up something . It's not that great but I hope it may help you some . ~ Nikki
I was on my way to the store wren my car broke down . The man from the garage came to give me a tow . Hee said that I had the messiest car he had ever seen . The window looked like it was covered in sap . Sucker wrappers were all over the floor too . I told him that is what happens when you have tanagers living at home and they borrow the car . Even though it made me angry at times , I would just swallow my anger and call my sis . Kin can calm you down when no one else can . Any way my kids were the ones being a pig. Eons would pass before I would make a mess like that . He laughed and said I was a cool chick . A deer was standing by the road and I smiled . It was so cute . We drove slow because we didn’t want to kill deer if they crossed the road . We waited at a stop sign for a policeman to cross . Bill ,the policeman waved hello and went on his way . I looked down and saw a card in Al ‘s , the tow truck driver , floor . It was from his wife Pip . It was so sweet . He said they met out west when he was on vacation . He had been stepped on by a cowboy with long spurs . She was the nurse who took care of him . Soon we arrived at Martin’s garage . Jay , the mechanic told me he would have my car ready in an hour . I thanked him for being so swift about it . When my car was done I thanked Al for a lovely drive and thanked Martin and Jay for doing such good work and went on to the store .
