Let's Get Garnishing

Garnishing is a wonderful way to make things look better and appeal to us. Face it. Most of us like beautiful things, even our food. Have you ever considered how the corporate world treats its clients and even its employees at banquets and parties? Everything comes with a garnish. Usually at professionally planned dinners and receptions, every tray and table is presented with some type of elegance. The corporate world knows that it is correct form to put their best foot forward. They want their cllients to see how well they can be treated and also they know it's important to show their employees proper respect.

I don't think it should be any different in the Christian world and with how we entertain within the church. Sure, we may not be serving wine and cavier, but the basic principle of appealing to the pallette and respect for our 'guests' should be there. We should go all out to treat our church congregations, our visiting missionaries, evangelists, and preachers with great hospitality when it comes to serving them meals and refreshments. Going the extra mile does make a difference and it is glorifying to God to do everything we do with the greatest effort and our best.

All churches are not the same size with the same budget, so likey most churches are not going to cater in a meal that comes with everything preset and garnished, but there are simple and practicle little things that can be done do to achieve that pizazz.
