I'm a great grandmother from this small surburban town, just a few miles from downtown Atlanta. My husband just celebrated his 51st year in ministry for our Lord. During this time we pastored churches and were Administrative Bishops in Hawaii and Oklahoma. Although we are retired we are still ministering in our church as Senior Adult Pastors to at least 85 people age 50 and over. It's been a wonderful journey being in God's army. We have enjoyed it so much. Guess we will keep working until it's time to go home.

You younger ladies just continue to be a "willing vessel" and God will surely use you to bless others. In the end, YOU are the one blessed!

We are still in the "honeymoon" of our second church. My husband has been pastoring for just over 5 years- It sounds like you are still going strong after all those years in the ministry! I hope to be in your shoes one day-still able and eager to do His work.

Sis Jimmi, your testimony is an encouraging one to follow. I love being in God's army, even when I get wombed by the enemy I know that the Lord is my healer and He will make me stronger than I was before.
