I need ideas for decorating a table for a mother daughter banquet. the theme is the Vessels of honour. thanks.

I am doing the table decorating at our church for the mother/daughter banquet on Friday. It is so fun!

When I think of the word vessel I think of ship so I would suggest using a boats on each table then putting different things in the boats on each table. For example, one of our tables will be done in tea pots so I would put a boat on the table then place a small box or table in the boat then place like a teddy bear on each side and have them having a tea party in the boat.

You could even make the boats with cardboard then paint them up real pretty or have the children or teens in the church be in charge in the boat painting.
