For the past few years, we've played Clue at our church...it's called "The Hymnler"...then we did "The Hymnler Strikes Back", "The Return of the Hymnler"..stuff like that.
It is a huge success every year, and *everyone* comes out for it! Our oldest player last year was 84, and he wasn't alone in his age group! It's a total family event, and after it is over, we have a short devotion and food.....we are home by 10:00 because it is a family event. Those who want to stay can, and board games are provided.
If you want details, I'll get them...but is basically like the game Clue. Our Uth Pastor makes videos for 3-4 weeks of presentation so we all get excited.... A cast of all ages plays a character based on a play of their name. Like Mr. Black was Mr. Blackeye...Mrs. Shade was Mrs. Shadey...They have clues to give out, and can lie about them if they are "it"! There are even some who will sell clues, for the right price! We use the whole church--every room! In the past, we've been outside too, but it get's too cold.
this is the one event each year that everyone comes out and we all have tons of fun...well, except for the camping trip, but usually the older crowd only come for one day...another story altogether.
So, let me know if you want details. _________________ Because He lives,
