I know this isn't a real topic for anyone but I just had to share it. We live on the Oregon coast and I spent some time at the ocean today. The power of the ocean waves was so incredible it was breathtaking. Of course we are getting some of the aftermath of the waves from the earthquake in Japan. But the awesome power of God was so clear. And then tonight we went outside and laid on the front lawn and looked up at the "ocean" of stars. We live out away from the city so there are no lights to compete with. Again I saw the awesome power of God in the beautiful night sky. I can never get enough of the beauty of God's wounderous creation. How can anyone think that all this just happened. That a big bang brought it all. "How marvelous are thy works and that my soul knoweth right well" Psalm 139 _________________ I enjoy this sight so much. I look at it daily |

Thanks for sharing.
I feel the same way when I look at the stars....and at trees....and at flowers....................
I'm fascinated by the foods provided by nature. God not only gave us things that would nourish our bodies but they also delight our senses!
I read once that the idea that this universe was formed by some sort of cosmic coincidence is equal to all the books in a bookstore exploding and as the remnants fell, all those letters and words re-forming into a perfectly made dictionary _________________ Colossians 1:27 ...."Christ in you, the hope of glory." |
