Hi,
Does anyone have some cost effective ways of decorating a huge gymnasium? ----the walls are very high. The only idea I have come up with this year is huge over sized evergreen trees cut out of paper.
They are having a fund raising craft sale late November so I would like to keep the decorations up through the whole Christmas season.
There are numerous other events in the gym during the season as well.
Thanks--- |

how about a cost effective way of GETTING a huge gymnasium? haha
We have a small building and would like a huge one.
How about that white netting I think it's called tulle I think it's pretty cheap and white Christmas lights.
I wouldn't think that would be very expensive, it might look like glistening snow and would go with everything because it's white. |

That was my thought too...
tulle, white mini lights and garlands of evergreen (artificial, so it lasts).
It goes with everything and can stand alone or be added to easily. _________________ Colossians 1:27 ...."Christ in you, the hope of glory." |

Very funny! I wish at times the gym would shrink---just for decorating on a shoe- string budget. Yes, the communtiy we are in has used this facility for a multi-purposes so that has been an out- reach opportunity
What did you have in mind secifically in using the tolle and mini lights--- (swagging?,draping?, cascading? what?)
I'm having a brain drain here. |

Yes...swagging, draping, cascading....
Big help I am, huh?
I actually wouldn't worry about taking the decorations all the way to the top.
Most people don't go much above eye level unless the decor is quite dramatic. _________________ Colossians 1:27 ...."Christ in you, the hope of glory." |
