Ladies
I don't even know where to start..........but I will start with the fact that MOST of this present mess is my fault.........Those of you who are younger ladies and think that your hubby is too harsh with your son(s) PLEASE "be still and KNOW that (God) I am Lord"
I will try to make this concise (sp?)
With my son's marital problems and impending divorce we ( my hubby and I ) have once again "come to his aide".
Ian has not, in a month and a half, found a job yet. My husband is getting antsy. And I have to say that I am too.
Jim, on the other hand, ALSO does not have a job. My husband points a finger at my son and my son points a finger at my husband..........That's the nutshell version.
As I said, most of this is because I was a "mommy" and didn't let my husband have the upper hand with our son.
Please Ladies, I need prayer. I am so sad and so stressed all the time it is not even funny.
Both are good men but neither are following God's plan for them...........
Ok
I have prattled enough.
Please, my grandchildren need their Daddy to be an example for them.
PLEASE pray that Ian would find a job soon.
In regards to my husband.........well as the Lord leads me to pray I will come before you and ask for your support. _________________ ysiHn&l;

Dear Oma,
You and your family will be in my prayers. I would like to mention your prayer request to our House Group and get them to pray too, but I will only do this with your expressed permission. May our faithful Lord be your strength as you rest in Him.
Every blessing. _________________ Allena

I appreciate your sensitivity. PLEASE do All the prayer coverage in the world would be appreciated. Pray for me too if you would. God revealed to me last night that I am holding on to bitterness and that I have to let it go or it is going to literally make me even sicker than I have been.
I really want to but I am so unsure how. Last night, well this morning, I woke up at 3 am. I hurt so badly, I was/am afraid that my fibro may be returning . After tossing and turning for a while I finally got up. Sewed a little on one of my grand daughter's dresses when I realized (DUH!) what a great time to read my Bible.
I read Psalm 34 (Which I plan to memorize)
"I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth."
Now, I don't know if this will help but I am going to try anyway. When I find my self thinking bitter negative thoughts I am going to stop and remember this verse. Then try to find something RIGHT then and there to praise God for. (I've had to do it a couple of times already today )
It's all I can think to do right now, but I know that the bitterness and anger HAVE to go. And I know of no other way.
So, if you would pray for me too I sure would appreciate it.
PS
I'm praying for your worship _________________ ysiHn&l;

Hi there. I shall certainly put our House Group on "your case". We meet every Friday night and I know they'll be glad to pray for you. Your defense against those negative thoughts/feelings is spot on! It can be a struggle sometimes, especially when you're feeling unwell, to stay positive but it's the only way. Keep on praising our Lord and finally the enemy will get so fed up with you hitting back the balls he smashes at you, that he'll clear off and go pester an easier target! My sleep patterns are all over the place too, so I can sympathise with your activities in the "wee small hours". But sometimes I find the night so quiet and peaceful that my "Quiet Time" really takes on a new dimension. Try looking at the stars and contemplating just how awesome our Creator is - it sure boosts my morale! God bless and keep you.
Oh, our church is Banbridge Methodist. Your prayers are appreciated. _________________ Allena

The prayer of FAITH shall save the sick, and the LORD shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they SHALL be forgiven him.
James 5:15
I thought of this for you this morning as I read and prayed for you and your family. it is hard to see division~especially in our OWN family. Just remember to PRAY! fervantly! and Believe that GOD can and WILL bring unity to your husband and son. Pray that EACH ONE see the sins of their own before them that they might repent of them. I can't find where it says a wife can witness to her husband ( and son ) without 'preaching' to them..but by simply living by the word. Do like Jacob and the angel of the lord and say "LORD, I WILL NOT LET GO UNTIL YOU BLESS ME'' and make THIS prayer yOUR number one prayer ~ not letting go til GOD bless. I know as a PW I Believe WHOLE HEARTLY that the enemy wants to distroy and if he can get into the families, he can get into churches and HE distroys MUCh for the kingdom of GOD~
I pray a hedge of GODS protection around YOUR FAMILY that unity be restored and you all can PRAISE GOD and say...
O magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt his name TOGETHER. I sought the lORD and He heard me, and delivered me from all my Fears~. Psalms 34:3-4
God bless you sister.

Hi Oma,
May I suggest a book for you? I read "Battlefield of the Mind" by Joyce Meyer and it has the principals I learned have been such a help to me. I read it to help with some of the anger and bitterness in my heart and have found it to be decided to apply its teachings in other areas of my life especially PMS. I've recommended it to other ladies who suffer from PMS. _________________ God Is Good All The Time. . .

Thank you!
I so cherish your encouragement and prayers. I seem to be able to let go of some of the bitterness lately I will look for that book by the way.
Thanks again! _________________ ysiHn&l;

I realized that with surgery etc I hadn't given you ladies an up date on what is going on with Ian.
When I had surgery the stress of Ian and Spring's marital problems were just too much for me. My husband told my son he had to leave. Ian stayed with friends off and on. He found a job driving cab for a friend and basically now sleeps in his cab.
However, he started the process to join the Army Although as a mom I would certainly prefer that we weren't at war, I believe that this is a WONDERFUL move on his part. Yes it will be hard for his children but it is already hard for them. At least this way he would be able to provide for them. (he doesn't make enough driving cab)
Monday he goes in for his final physical. We are sure he will pass. Please pray that after this they call him up quickly. He needs to start paying his child support. Pray also that he doesn't get cold feet at the last minute. He KNOWS that this is what he needs. But he also knows he can afford to have a dog, yet accepted a puppy, from a friend, for his birthday!
Please continue to pray for my daughter in law. She is "seeing" a man that she lived with briefly after leaving Ian. When she lived with him my eldest grandaughter told me "daddy so & so" hit my mommy".
Pray MOST of all for my grand children. She has them calling this man "daddy". When he leaves again (which I am sure he will do) it will be ANOTHER person they care about out of their lives.
Pray that my husband and I are able to be a stabilizing force in their lives until their father returns and can support them.
thanks! _________________ ysiHn&l;
