What would you think about doing posts like the tabs in cookbooks? We could title each thread with a different menu item, i.e. "Meat" or "Main Dishes", "Casseroles", "Cakes and Cookies", "Appetizers", etc. That way, you can post your food item in the appropriate thread, or start one that matches, and it will be easy to find the kind of food you're interested in.
Oma's already started "Soups", and "Salads", so we've got a head start if you're interested! _________________ God bless,

How expansive can we get with catagories?
Just one for meat?....or can we do one for beef, another for chicken, etc. ?
Or split beef up into beef/ground beef? (I'm always looking for ways to use burger besides my basic half-dozen recipes).
I'll use this "cookbook" no matter how you set it up...
So, I say go for it and start those catagories. _________________ Colossians 1:27 ...."Christ in you, the hope of glory." |

We could get as expansive as you like! Whatever makes it easiest for people to find the recipes they want. I thought that maybe this would help people to start posting some recipes. I certainly can use some new ones! I do well for a while, then really get in a rut (I'm in one right now!)
Of course, I didn't mean that this would take over the recipe board. People might be wanting a certain recipe that isn't posted, and they should post asking for it. Just that it would be nice to have recipes somewhat organized.
Should we ask for suggestions for menu topics? _________________ God bless,

How about a Low Carb section? I really need some side dish ideas for my hubby other than deviled eggs and green beans. _________________ God Is Good All The Time. . .

Great idea, BarbaraJean! Unfortunately, I don't know how to cook anything without carbs, so I'm no help! _________________ God bless,

Hi ladies,
I agree with the idea of a cookbook style forum. I think it would make it much easier for folk to locate whatever type of recipe they need. Look forward to contributing!
