I am new to this board. I had a friend to tell me about you guys and I thought it would great to join in on the fun. I have been a pastors wife for 3 1/2 years. My husband has been a pastor in Gattman, MS for a little over a year, so I am a little new to "being the pastor's wife" because this is our very first church of our own. I hope to get to know some of you in the future.

Welcome to the board! There's lots of pastor's wives here - some with many years experience, some with fewer - you should feel right at home!
I've been a PW for 8½ years, 3 years as a youth pastor's wife, the rest as the senior/only pastor's wife. I still don't feel like I've got it figured out, so if you ever do, let me know!

Welcome. You and I are in the same boat, my husband just celebrated his third anniversary as Pastor. This is also our first position as Pastor. This site is full of useful information and the ladies on this board are extremely supportful and helpful.

I am as glad as you to find such a wonderful place to share our joys and sorrows as we serve the risen Savior. My husband surrendered to the ministry 9 years ago. THree years into his ministry, I accepted Christ as my personal Savior. Being a pastors wife has many challenges.. but as you have posted, " I CAN DO ALL THINGS THRU CHRIST WHICH STRENGTHENETH ME" !
