Hi, all,
I am interested in starting a care group/fellowship group in our church for the ladies. We currently have one but it's for over 50 only. I am under 50 as are a bunch of others in our congregation. I think it would be a really great thing to have a younger group for us younger ladies. The questions I have for you all is, how to start one, any suggestions, guidelines, where to have it, do we have devotionals, and do any of you belong to one? the over 50's club has a birthday lunch every month for the women in their club, they go to a nursing home to visit residents, and so on. I like those ideas too. So right now I am looking for any input from everyone that can help.
thanks a bunch,
hugs,
Brenda

Hi, great idea! You can start out by inviting all that is interested to come to your home, or meet at the church. Bring snacks, have a short devotional, activity or just enjoy getting to meet one another. For service projects, you could donate baskets to women who had new baby, sick etc.
