We are having a Hawaiian Luau with the theme being "Lei it Down Luau"
our verse is Heb. 12:2 "...lay aside every weight and the sin which doth
so easily beset us. . ."
I need some ideas for a few games. What I have so far is:
Hula Bowl--a hula contest
Swing Low Limbo--just like the original game
Any other ideas out there??? I would appreciate it so much.

In addition to the Limbo, we set up a volleyball net using a beach ball.
Hope this helps! _________________ Nikki

Last year at our Luau, we had a big paper hula girl taped to the wall and we played "Pin the Flower in the Hula Girl's Hair". We gave a prize to the lady who got it closest. We also had a Hawaiian style food cooking contest. It was a blast. We did the Hula hoop Contest and that was so funny!! _________________ I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.

| At our Hawaiian themed retreat last year, we had coconut bowling. The ladies seemed to enjoy it. The person that made it even painted the "pins" (empty 2 liter soda bottles) with glow in the dark paint. |

I just did a Luau for our Married Couples Night and we did a Luau. The game that we played was pass the coconut. It was kind of like hot potato but with a coconut instead. You passed the coconut around in a circle to music and when the music stopped the person holding the coconut was out. It was a lot of fun and everyone seemed to enjoy it.
Good Luck!
