I'm new here from the prairie of Colorado, too, and I would like to give a big thanks to CLM. We are just starting our women's ministry at our church and I've gotten so many good ideas from this board. I know this will be a constant resource for us as we develop closer relationships and reach out to our community for Christ.
We moved here from Montana in March. We have four boys, 26, 18, 16, and 14, our oldest being married and living in CO., also. Our 18 yo just graduated with the homeschool group in Denver and will be finding a job so he can pay for his own car insurance . We have been in the ministry since 1988 and this is our fourth church. We miss the beautiful mountains of Montana but we're exactly where the Lord wants us and that's even better. It's nice that we've had a lot of rain so that the prairie is green. But we're hot!!!
Well, it's nice to be here and share the Lord. _________________ Denise C. |

Hi Denise,
Glad to have you here. Sounds beautiful where you are. I know what you mean about being hot. I live in Central Florida and we stay in the 90's during the day. When you add the humidity to that it feels like it is in the 100's+.
Once again, welcome. _________________ Jodi

Thank you, Jodi and Faye for the welcome. Where in Montana did they move to, Faye? We were in Alberton. That's a town of 350 about 30 miles west of Missoula right on the I-90.
We are going to be up passed 100 today but, at least, it's dry heat. I'd have a hard time with humidity and wanting to take a shower every few minutes, Jodi. Where are you, Faye? If you don't want to post where you are you can email me. We may be close both being on the Colorado prairie. I'm in Pueblo West. |

I sent you a p.m., Denise Have a great day and don't forget to drink lots of water - it's pretty dry here and getting dehydrated is a real possibility, and we don't want that! _________________ "If the Lord leads you to it, He will get you through it." |

Hi, Denise C.! I'm glad you found us here and decided to join us!
I used to be your neighbor...well, about 10 years ago. I lived in Wyoming for almost 10 years, from 1984 to 1994. We loved it in the West. My dad pastored a church down in the southwest corner of the state. Sometime I hope to take my husband and son back to WY for a visit so they can see the beauty, and the recent history that's so visible there. Montana, Wyoming, Utah, and Colorado all are gorgeous states! _________________ Sharing Jesus' love with you,
