I'm not a big rubber stamper; I make greeting cards with fabric and paper and use stamps for the greeting portion of the card. So I don't know if I qualify as a stamper or not!
I don't do scrapbooking at all. I don't have the money or the patience to do it! But I admire others' efforts. It's a lot of time invested.
So I take it from your question that you do both?

I have been scrapbooking for a few years (though I don't find a lot of time for it and am very far behind!). I have only done rubber stamping at a Stampin' Up party I attended last year. I really enjoyed it and even ordered some stamps, but am ashamed to say I have never used them yet.

You should see my sister-in-law's stamp collection. She has more than a hundred. She made some on her own, and most of them she bought from stores or through catalogs. When I read your message, I thought about the pretty stamps she has. She also makes cute cards with those stamps. I wish I could learn how to do scrapbooking if I have time.

I just started to do rubberstamping. I really like doing it except I am not a creative person. I wish I were. I only have a few stamps right now. They are more expensive than I can afford...food first you know I have been doing cards mostly but I want to do some bookmarks with fall themes. My 7 year old daughter loves to do it with me. It may take me a long time to accumulate enough stamps to expand my creativity for whatever that is worth

I love scraping. I wish that I had more time to do it. I found a great website off of OrganizedHome. com that has lots for scrapbooking info.

Hi! I have only been "stamping" for about a year... however, I am hopelessly addicted! "Betcha can't BUY just one" should be stamped across my forehead. Since I'm a novice, I am always looking for new icon_idea.gif ideas, tips and helpful hints.

YES! I love to scrapbook. Just finished a book two weeks ago. I don't find time to do scrapbooking on my own so I regularly get together with my friends. We go to each others home and often potluck it. I do like stamping, but I'm just getting into it. I don't mix the two though because I want to be productive and not bogged down with have to do "the right thing".

As for stamping, I prefer Close to My Heart over Stamping Up. I have stamps from both, but I dislike having to assemble my own stamps.

Hi!
I have been scrapbooking for about 6 years now! I have completed about 6 albums and am working on 4 more now! I really like Creative Memories a lot. I just recently signed up as a consultant. I started off stamping but don't do too much of that now.

I LOVE Scrapbooking! I have a 14 month old and I started after she was born. It is so much fun and it is really relaxing I think. A lot of times I will do that right before I go to bed and it will calm me down for bed. I have thought several times about becoming a representative with a scrapbooking company but I am already a rep with The HomeMaker's Idea Company (www.myhomemakersidea.com/as7918) and I don't have the time to do both.

Is there anyone out there who is doing a scrapping or stampping night with the ladies of your church? I am thinking about starting a scrapbooking night with our ladies ministry. If anyone has any comments or suggestions I would love to hear from you. You are welcome to email me at absmoot@yahoo.com.

Thanks
Ashley

I've been scrapping for about 10 years. I have made about 50 scrapbooks during this time. Our church ladies meet when we can. We do not have a set date each month because of other activities. You'll enjoy doing this with your church ladies. Whoever has it usually furnishes a snack (course you don't eat or drink on your scrapping table). Sometimes each attending will bring a snack. The hosts always tries to give a scrapbooking favor, such as a tag, border etc. Sometimes there is a plastic bag full.
