Does anyone have any ideas on how to compile a newsletter to be sent to each lady quarterly? I was thinking of doing something with maybe a note of encouragement, event calendar, interview maybe one or two ladies out of our church for their testimony, Kids Corner (craft or activity for little girls), recipes, maybe a health note on women's health, missions, maybe a section on grandparenting. If anyone has a sample or some ideas on how to kick this off I'd greatly appreciate it. This site is such a blessing to me as a ladies ministry leader...for which I thank the Lord for allowing me to serve in this ministry at our local church.

What a good idea! Sounds like you've already come up with some great ideas-I may just start one at our little church!
You may want to include a little encouraging note from your pastor, or maybe a profile like those silly one's passed around on the net (favorite food, last movie you watched, children's names) on one lady-like a ss teacher or deacon's wife or a new member who wouldn't mind sharing.

Our ladies sunday school class has a monthly newsletter. We include upcoming activities, a short message about previous months activities, a recipe from a class member, pictures of events, etc. If you could post your e-mail address I'd be glad to e-mail a copy to you.
