| I have a prayer need - My husband is a Pastor and he is bivocational ( the church is too small to afford to pay him so he has another job). I was also working and last year I was laid off in June 2003. We really struggled financially because I was making more than my husband. We ended up having to sell our home, sell our cars and pretty much survive on the bare necessities. I have been looking for a job since then if you can believe that . Anyway, its been so tough, I have over 10 years professional mgmt experience and a master degree but for some reason it has been so hard to get a job. In January of 2004, we found out that we are expecting our first child (further complicating our finances) but we are thrilled because we know that God does not make mistakes. I have had this desire to work for the City where I live and I've been praying about it and every time they have an openeing,I always apply - in the last year I have applied over 25 times. Finally, I have an interview on Thursday at 9:30 am (CST) and I would really like some prayer warriors to pray for me concerning this. I really need this job for our family and its exactly what I have been praying for. I feel a little anxious about it because I am 5 months pregnant - who wants to hire a pregnant woman - and I also know that they are interviewing several other candidates for the same position I am interviewing for. I know that even when the odds are against us, God's ways prevail - so pray that I would be victorious in this job interview. I've been to so many inteviews . . . and feel weary. Please pray for me . . . . . . . |

My heart goes out to you. I know how difficult it is to have such financial burdens on you and your family. We are going through similar situations financially. I will earnestly pray for you, specifically, I will pray for you on Thursday morning at 9:30. Just remember, God is always faithful and "we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose" (Rom 8:2. God has called your husband to His ministry and He will work all things together for the good. Just say faithful to Him and He will stay faithful to you!!
Congrats on your baby! _________________ May God Continue to Bless You,

| I went for the interview and I will just wait and see what happens. They interviewed 8 people and the whole process will take about 4 weeks to hear if They will offer it to me or not - I will keep you posted. Thanks for your thoughts and prayers. |
