I am contemplating approaching our church board on scheduling a ladies retreat in March/April 2004. We are a small church and would like to utilize the talent within our own church. A topic would be women's health issues (we have 2 nurses that also have great speaking skills). We do have plenty of musical talent. Also thinking of a craft involving creating greeting cards (also have women who could teach this). Just trying to think of an appropriate theme to tie all of this together for a one-day/all day event. I would appreciate suggestions for a theme.

We did something similar in the past and I think we just called it
Women's Wellness
....which is kind of boring.
Unless you played with the word "well". Use a small garden well in the decor and utilize water in the overall concept (after all, water is a major key to our physical health and the Living Water is vital to our spiritual health).

Have you surfed around the site here? There are lots of themes.
One might work or spark a new idea for you.

We did a retreat similar as we have alot of older ladies in our church and we centered it around the Survivor theme. We had information on breast cancer, bp screening, Vial of Life information.
