wondering how to make an attractive invitation for a Ladies luncheon, that will attract ppl to come....
ANY GREAT IDEAS FROM YOU THE EXPERTS OUT THERE???

If you have any kind of print program on your computer, like PrintShop or Printmaster (those are very user-friendly ones), you can make a very nice little invitation quite simply.

A more personal invitation would be to hand-make one. I make cards using parchment-tone cardstock, fabric, and colored cardstock or scrapbook papers. I make my own card by cutting the parchment cardstock in half, or you can just buy cards with the envelopes in a package. You find a fabric that has cute pictures on it that would fit on a card, iron Fusible web or Wonder-Under onto the back of it, cut out the pictures and iron onto the card. You can matte the picture with different colored papers (corrugated paper look nice, too) to make it look even cuter. Add little ribbons, raffia or vellum paper to add depth. There are lots of cute stamps out there to create the invitation part of the inside. Or even use stamps to create the pictures on the outside, rather than fabric.

It means you were not logged in. Sometimes the board has its quirks. Before you post, look at the top and make sure it says "Log out" with your user name in parenthesis. If it doesn't and says "Log in", then just relog in. Sometimes it doesn't work right. Instead of using the regular "Log in", Try using the "Log in to check your messages" and then go to the Forum Index from there. It has something to do with how it handles cookies from different computers. I always have to log in that way or I have to log in about 3 or 4 times before it accepts it the normal way.
