FYI
I have set the Ministry Wife Insight Topic/Forum to be only viewed and read by registered members. If you are already logged in you will be able to view and post as always, but guests will not be able to access that topic unless they register.

I will probably register now, but just wondering what your reasoning is for this. I know it is your website and you can do whatever you want just wondered why?

My website has grown so much in volume of traffic lately. A large portion of that being on this forum so I know many view but don't participate and I do know that men come through here too and some of the posts in that topic lately just shouldn't be read by men.

Many of the posts recently on the Ministry Wife Insight were concerning husbands and I just don't want someone to think they were asking for advice in private and their husbands find a bookmark and read their wives posts. Of course if they registered, they could. But anyways, I am trying to give just a little more privacy.

I had tried from the beginning not to make everything passworded because many pastor's wives and busy women in general just want to pop in and out and not have to sign in each time, but I just felt that the Women's Ministry Insight needed just a little bit more privacy because of the type of posts that have been added lately.

Hope I haven't inconvenienced anyone too much. I just felt it was neccessary.

Julia, thanks for keeping this site as private as can be. I feel you are doing the right thing. Lots of us need to feel we can say what we need to and not be ashamed. I appreciate it.

PW need somewhere and someone they can talk to that will not cause chaos. I do love my husband and even though he is also my pastor I have a hard time running to him with all my problems. For one thing it interfers with his preaching and studing (he is still a man). I believe that most women know women and when you are a PW you just can't run to any lady in the church, the community, or even your best friend...(in that matter) for help, that will be a distaster waiting to happen.
This site has shown me that the ladies in this section has a better understanding of listening and responding than I could ever receive from my husband(no matter how close the husband and wife can be). I hear my husband say..."I just don't understand you at times?" Those are the times that I need a female Christian friend to turn too who has been in that situation. Don't get me wrong, God is first in my life to need and talk to...I feel that it is a blessing that God gives us true christian women to have an unconditional friendship. So Julie...I give you two thumbs way up for understanding our needs.
Dear Heavenly Father I ask that you continue to bless Julie and give her the strength to keep this website going...I know that there are overwhelming times for her and you can meet her needs and give her the peace to continue with this amazing ministry. Thank you Jesus for sending me here as a prayer request answered, You are an Awesome God to serve. Amen.
