[color=green]Hello All: I never knew I would have to post a prayer that is hurting my heart today . We supported our adult children who are attending a Bible College. 2 of the 4 have graduated and one is in trouble and dont really see it. He is dating a girl who is selfish, greedy and other things we cant say as Christians. I knew from the beginning she wasnt good for him and it has been breaking my heart lately. He is such a gently 22 yr young man, loves the Lord, really really gently and this is the best way I can put it. I am not being bias at all but I do know my son. Please pray for me. I am not getting in their way but I am praying today until I hear from the Lord regarding how to help him. He hass been offered a good job in another state as a musician and minister but he turned it down saying it wasnt enough money. Dont you think $30,000 is good to begin with for a young fellow as he? Thanks for your help. [/color]

Wow $30,000 sounds excellent. Many pastors in small churches don't make that much money.
Will pray for you son that the Lord will touch his heart and open his eyes. And will pray that the Lord will give you wisdom in dealing with this situation.

My Daughter is very precious, but she can be a little stinker!

I would say hon, that....us Mom's can really be sensitive about our sons!
I have 2 that are married, and their spouses are not the ones I would have picked for them! believe me!! But, they are becomeing quite the fine young men....dealing with their problems, and having Mother stay out of them!.........I do tell them, to love their wife, no matter how they behave, adn to treat them gently and with respect.....(but deep down inside I want to tell them that she is a brat and a pain, and he doesn't deserve such treatment!!...but that would only worsen the situation, and would make me the mother, more of a hinder, than a help!)

So, you'll have to let your son makes his mistakes, while you pray- pray- pray!!!...encourage him in the Lord, tell him you believe in him, and know that he will do the right thing, and if you do not agree with it, you will still stand by him....and her !! through it all!

Maby she needs you for a friend too!
