I'm a member of the Lutheran Church (LCA) and Coordinator for Lutheran Social Services of IL Prison Ministry at a Correctional Center in Dixon, IL. I can give you more information about that if you're interested. I'm a mother of 5 children, and 10 grand-children. My first husband and father of the children, who died from kidney failure in 1974, was a Lutheran pastor.

Right now I'm looking for help for our Women and Girl's (aka Mother-Daughter) Spring Banquet. Any ideas where I might find some poems or stories to use for our Toasts to the Mothers, daughters, grandma, and great-grandmas? I'll be MC again, so would like some new little things to use. How about songs? Sure would appreciate your help! Thanks.
