I am so happy to have found this site and first want to thank Julia for her time and effort in this ministry.

My prayer request is for my son and his family. A year ago my daughter-in-law took my grandbabies and left my son for another man. This has been a bitter hard year for them both. But especially for my grandchildren. At this point my son is so hurt and angry that he doesn't want to try to work on his marriage. And my daughter-in-law does not either. I want to pray that God will heal this marriage, but even I am having a hard time at this point and just want it all to go away and my grandchildren to be happy. Please pray for them. Pray specifically that, if God does not miraculously heal this situation, they would at least come to a point where they are working together for their children, instead of fighting because of them.

I thought I sent you a reply but I can't find it. I just want you know that God can be everywhere and is with you and your family. I also know the times when it is hardest is when you are not with your grandclildren and do not know the situation they may be in, but just remember we have a Great Bid God and He "can be " everywhere and will be there for you and your children. My prayer is that God will carry you through this trial. One day you will see how He "has" blessed you through this also. The foot-prints in the sand poem would be a good one to relate to right now. I to have been ther, and done that. And you will make it. And God will be Glorified through your trials, if you will let Him.May God Comfort you, is my prayer. glen

Thank you for your prayers on behalf of our daughter, it has been a struggle and we know that only through GOds grace and strength we have made it this far. I read your prayer request this a.m. and cna only imagine the heartbreak for you, I understand the pain, and frustration as my sister-in-law did the same thing just a few years ago and it still is affecting the family. I shall keep you in my prayers that God will give your heart and mind peace and that you will be an instrument of His love to them, and that He will heal and retore them, and that they are willing to let Him. It is a wonderful thing to join with sisters in Christ to lift up our families. Thank you all for joining me regarding Ian and his children. Also pray for my attitude. I try very hard not to harbor negative thoughts towards Spring (my D-I-L) but am rarely successful.

Things are heating up and getting pretty negative right now and I know that affects my grandbabies.

On a side note. Jessie, my grandson, contracted a viral infection which almost killed him this spring. Fluids are beginning to back up on his heart again. Please pray that the medication and treatment that the doctors are prescribing will take affect quickly. He has a doctor's appointment in about 8 days.

I know you are worried about your children, I two have been down the road you are traveling. You probally know that even this sickness that your grandchild is experiencing is God's Hand at work. My7 yr.old grandchild was almost killed in a 4-wheeler accident during the time of thier trails, they ai- lifted him to Childrens Hosp. in B'ham Al. He had to have surgery.both lungs were collasped. That sunday night he arrived the Doc. could not say for sure if he was going to make it. That was two yrs. ago, the 8th of Sept. they were remarried and they just had their 2nd anniverary. My grndson plays foot ball. Our Pastor still talks about this miricle from time to time in his sermons. God showed these kids(their parents) his "Mighty Hand ", and let them know that he could take something dear to them away is they didn't obey him. My daughter spoke at our Ladies Banquet last yr. about the foot-prints of God. He Is Awesome

Thank you Glen for your words of encouragement. It is hard right now for me to think that any of the wonderous things that happened could happen to my family. BUT, I will say this I am once again relying on God and not trying to "take care of it" my self.

Please keep Ian in prayer today. He has to go to a meeting regarding child support and this will probably affect custody as well. Please pray for their conversation to be congenial and in the best interest of my grandchildren.

Ian has been trying to find better employment for a while now. The work that he is doing barely pays enough for him to live on and is sporatic (he is staying with friends right now). He has been unable to pay child support reguarly. When Spring has asked him for money he has said that he would purchase what she needed or pay bills but that he would not give her cash again because she doesn't use it for the intended purpose. And then claims that he never gave it to her.

Last night he was arrested for lack of child support payment. He has several job applications out. Please pray that he would get a better paying job SOON, that he will be released so that he CAN work, that Spring's heart would soften and she would begin to work with him for the good of the children. He has on several occasions said that if she needed something and he had the money he would buy it for her. He has paid Day Care twice and NONE of this is being told to the court. I am going to a "Father's Connection" lawyer this afternoon pray that he will have some advice for me to share with Ian and that he will follow it! Thanks
