I.m helping to plan our annual banquet-Daughters of the Lord, we have ages 3-80 and a group of about 115 come. Our theme is H.A.T.S.- Having A Thankful Spirit. We thought about having a vintage hat model show and maybe speaking a little on the history of hats. Of course we are having all the ladies wear a hat. Our devotion will be focused on being thankful to the Lord daily. If anyone has any other ideas on entertainment, doorprizes, games and centerpieces, I would love to hear them.

That is a great theme. We were planning something with hats for a mother/daughter banquet. We wanted everyone to wear a hat and maybe plan for a speaker to talk about the many hats we wear. I love the "Having A Thankful Spirit". Would it be okay if we used that also?
Do you have any other ideas that we could use? We have about the same amount of people you spoke of. I'm going hat shopping one of these days when it gets warmer!

We are having a Tea where all the ladies are requested to dress up and wear a hat. I am giving out prizes for the funniest hat, the most original hat, the craziest hat, ect. I am also giving each table a roll of toilet paper and asking them to design a hat on one of the sisters at there table. She will model the hat against the other tables and the most creative hat wins the grand prize. Hope these help out.
