Hello,
A friend of mine that lives on the east coast and whom I recently found after many years told me about this site, we keep in touch by email. There is lots of nice things here to look at and posts to read. I appreciate the encouragement to the ones who need it.

I live in British Columbia in the Fraser Valley. It is raining right now, but has been quite nice in the past month.

Robin and I have been married 36 years and I have been a Christian about 23 years of that. I attend a Regular Baptist Church here. We have two grown children our youngest a son is happily married with two young children and our oldest a daughter chose out of God's will and is living in a homosexual relationship for two years now.

The last four years have been very challenging and a time of growth in the Lord. God is so good and has kept me in Him.
This week I am painting the walls in a big room downstairs and hope to start gardening soon!

We are almost neighbors...sort of. I live on the North Oregon coast. With my husband of almost 27 years ( May . We have 3 children. My husband is a pastor of a small country church. I hope you find lots of friends amoung us.

So glad to have you here. Another Baptist (independent) here but a long way from you, we are in Florida! We are not associated with the Regular Baptist Organization but we use their SS material and absolutely love it!
You are right, this is a wonderful site - full of wonderful ideas and encouragement.
So sorry to read of your daughter choosing to live out of God's will. My sister has just recently made the choice to turn her back on what she knows to be right and it hurts so badly! So will definately mention your family in prayer as you continue to deal with this situation.

Hi, Johanna! It's so nice to have you here
You and your husband have a few years on us - we've only been married 9 years, although my husband is almost 42 (I married an old guy! ) lol We have a 7 year old son. My husband is a pastor, currently without a church. We're in the process of looking for a new ministry; in fact, this Sunday we'll be going to a little church for the 3rd time. The first 2 times were just pulpit supply, but this time, they're really going to "look us over"! We'll see how the Lord leads.
I've never been to B.C. but it looks like such a beautiful place; I'd love to visit there someday.
