Dear Ladies,
I love this site. So much to glean from and such sweet fellowship.
This year we are not having a Mother?Daughter banquet at the usual time. Spring. Instead we are planing to have it in July.
To many wedding this spring.

So I would like to do something different and have the theme around our daughters instead of mothers. This is the first year in a LONG time that I will have my two daughters there and my mom.

The ladies asked if I would speak this year, which is an honor. We have been here 4 years and I have yet to do that. Only in small Bible study groups so I'm excited.

So I need ideas on a theme about daughters any help would be wonderful!

You might do a search on "daughter" or "daughters" in the Bible and see if any verse jumps out at you for a theme. When I plan our ladies' banquets, usually the first thought is a verse to base it on, then ideas for themes, etc., kind of flow from that.

One of my favorites re daughters (I don't have any -- I have 3 sons -- but always wanted a daughter.) is: Ps 144:12b that our daughters may be as corner stones, polished after the similitude of a palace.

There is one in I Peter about being Sarah's daughters.

Or Luke 8:48 And he said unto her, Daughter, be of good comfort: thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace.
