Hi
It has been a while since I visited, heart surgery and grandkids have kept me out of my office
I need help finding a pattern. Years ago (late 60's early 70's) my mother made a cloth Noah's Ark. I believe it was a Woman's Day pattern. I want to make one for my grandchildren for next year. Does anyone know the pattern I'm talking about and do you know if I can still get it?
Thanks _________________ ysiHn&l;

Oma, was that the pillow kind of Noah's Ark, or a book type? Can you describe a little more what you're looking for?
BTW, it's SO nice to see you back! We've missed you during your recovery time. Glad you're feeling well enough to be back with us. _________________ God bless,

Hi Oma,
Woman's Day magazine has some forums where their readers share crafts and a little bit of everything so you may want to post something there and you might get some help with finding what you are looking for. Believe it is just www.womansday.com and you can find their forums from there.
Hope that helps _________________ Creative Ladies Ministry

Thank you both for the welcome back!
It was just cloth figures two of each of the animals and then Noah and his wife. The boat was to be made out of wood. (I think) each figure was about 3-41/2 inches tall (except for the dove and raven) I know that Mom finished the Tigers (my brother's nickname and for whom it was being made) Lions dove Noah his wife, the hippos, elephants and sheep. I do not know if there were more than that. Noah and his wife were conical Sort of like a candy corn shape but more narrow and rounder at the top (does that make sense?) There arms were the fabric of the garment and then they had felt hands (I think)
I did try to contact Woman's day but they (Woman's Day itself) did not have the ability to help me (too old). I will see if they have a message board and leave a message there.
It really doesn't have to be THIS pattern. I just want a simple pattern so that I can make it easily for next Christmas. _________________ ysiHn&l;
