Hi.

I saw that I was supposed to introduce myself, so here I am. I live in MI. My husband and I have been married for 1 1/2 years, and he is the pastor of a small church. Since he started at the church I have obtained many jobs, one which is Ladies Fellowship. I'm new to it and could use lots of help. This summer we had a Luau and that was fun. My hobbies are scrapbooking/stamping, I'm somewhat addicted to Ebay (shhh don't tell) and I am a substitute teacher.

I guess that is it. Hopefully I introduced myself well enough. Thanks for the great website.

Hi, Katylynn! It's very nice to meet you. I'm from Michigan also! You make, I think, the 3rd pastor's wife from Michigan here! Startrek will probably show up soon and she's the other Michigander. Whereabouts are you located, if you don't mind me asking? I live in Chesaning, if you have any idea where that is. (kind of midway between Saginaw, Flint and Lansing)
I'm glad you joined us here. I know you'll find tons of ideas to use in your ladies ministries.

So nice to meet another MI pw! I am also interested to know what part of MI you are from! This is exciting! I am from the Grand Rapids/ Lansing area - right smack in the middle in a little farm town. My dh has pastored for almost 9 yrs here. But prior to coming here, we served for 8 yrs in Kalamazoo, MI in youth ministry. The other 5 yr of our marriage were spent hither and yon in various ministries, mostly youth.
Anyway - please get back on soon and tell us a little more about yourself!

Wow, PW's all over the place. I live in a tiny town called Lake Odessa. It's in between Grand Rapids and Lansing. I know where Flint is at also. Wow, we're so close! This is our first church, and he is the senior (and only) pastor here. It's a small church and so I am trying to get some programs going to help out. Very glad to meet you both!

Wow! You and Startrek are within 20 miles of each other! I'm farther, about 1 hr. 45 minutes from you, and a little less than 1-1/2 hrs. from Startrek. Small world, huh?
I know I've heard of Lake Odessa before, I just can't remember the connection. What church are you at? You can pm me if you aren't comfortable posting it.
We were previously at Village Baptist Church in Chesaning, and now are attending Community Baptist in Shields (Saginaw) until my husband finds a new church to pastor. He's beginning to get some pulpit supply, and hopes that that will open doors for candidating.
It's very exciting meeting ladies that are so close by! It'll be fun to get to know you better!

Have you always lived in the area or did you move here from out of town/state?
I do daycare for a 3 yr old and his parents live in Lake-O
