Hello all,

I am very new to this website and what an answer to prayer this evening. I work in ministry, but I have also founded a widow ministry that is fast growing in TN and other states.

I widowed almost four years ago at the age of 37 as we were in the process of moving to TN. My young son and I stayed because we felt there was a reason God planted us here...now we know why..it was to start this ministry and help others begin one in their community as well.

I have enjoyed reading about some of you and where you are from. Please help pray with me in this ministry to widows as I am in the process of allowing God to lead this heartfelt ministry into a nonprofit organization.

God is so good and I enjoy speaking to women of His goodness and grace and His promises for each of us in our valleys and climbs to the top of the mountain as we seek Him. As you can tell, I am an encourager and I will be very happy to encourage you and pray for you as you need.

Your area of ministry is a much needed one, one that often churches have forgotten that God called them to do. That's why deacons were selected to begin with. It would be interesting to hear more about what you do.

It was sad to hear that you were widowed at 37 - my goodness! I'm sure you have stories to tell of how the Lord has helped you through that. I too, would like to hear more about what you do.
