| At our church we still have the regular secret sister program of gift giving. Tonight was our reveal for the last 6 month program. One sister did a wonderful thing. She kept a prayer journal for her secret sister for the entire 6 months. Every day or two she would log in her journal what she had been praying about. At the reveal it was presented to her sister with her gift. It was so precious. At least we know she was really praying. Just wanted to share this great idea in case anyone else might want to try it. |

Praise the Lord for the secret sister that prayed and wrote a Journal of her prayers for the 6 months. I have been doing the secret sister idea for years at my church, and do have to admit times have gone by where I have not prayed for my secret sister as faithful as I should but keeping a Journal is the way to go To God be the Glory for the things He has done,I shall use that idea and am very excited for the secret sister program to start back in Jan so I can start a Journal.

| I think that was an awesome thing to keep a journal. Many times people say that they are praying for us, but they are caught up in daily tasks that their intentions are good, but days can go by before they think of praying for you. I may try thid with my prayer partnes. |

I went out and bought a journal so I could start doing this for my Secret Pal. I think it's such a meaningful idea!!

| Oh I so wish I knew about that we do this for a year and my S.S. lost her brother in a murder and now she turned 40 years and has a new baby girl.. What a Blessed girl she is... Just so much going on with her life I think the Journal would have really helped me keep up with her life more.. Thank you for the iead I will surely use it now.. |
