My daughter, Jaree and her husband, Randy sold their home last February(bought a year earlier....they made close to $40,000 profit) which they used to become debt free. The reason was that they had felt God calling them to the ministry and that they needed to not be tied down with extra burdens. Since accepting the call on their lives this year has been full of obstacles. It has been like a soap opera.....tune in next week for the continuing saga. LOL They moved into our upstairs apartment until a couple of weeks ago when they decided to rent a larger place. They moved into an almost brand new home and loved it. Last Thursday at 8pm the gas company turned on the gas and at 1am (five hours later) they were running for their lives out of a smoke filled house. There was a gas leak which caught the water heater on fire....and the fire was so hot it melted the connection to the water pipe which wound up putting out the fire before most of the house burned. The fire marshall told them if they had not awoke when they did they would have been dead in 2 to 5 minutes from smoke inhalation. The fire alarm had no battery in it.....and another one that was electric was not wired up. Only by the grace of God are they here now. I truly believe God is going to do some great things in their lives and the enemy is fighting them hard to keep them down. Greater is our God than any problem they may face. I just wanted to give God the glory that my daughter, son=in=law, and two granddaughters are fine....not a burn on them even though they literally ran thru the flames. God is sooooo good!
