With all the other important prayer requests mine seems rather insignificant.
I would like to go see my mom for Christmas. The only problem is the cost of 5 airline tickets. She doesn't know this. We live in Oregon and my mom is in Maine ( my home state) We haven't seen my family for 3 years. Her health is very poor and I know that if she dies she will be with my dad finally. But I would like to see her at least for this Christmas. She needs to see her grandchildren, too
I guess my prayer request is for financial needs. There is no "human" way possible to get that many tickets but God is able.

Being in the military we are away from family...often FAR away.

Dear Kirsten
I will be praying for God to provide a way for you to see your Mom. Just a thought........how poor is her health? Could she perhaps be given a ticket to come see you? Regardless, I know how difficult it is to have a parent on the other side of the country, who is ill, and you can't get there. (My Dad lived in New England and I in Texas, he died of cancer several years ago) I will be praying for you.
