Raspberry Crinkles
1 cup sugar
3/4 cup vegetable oil
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla extract
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
Combine sugar, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla extract. Mix well with wire whisk. In separate bowl, stir together flour, baking powder and salt. Graduallly stir dry ingredients into oil mixture. Shape into small balls. Place onto ungreased cookie sheet. Make a deep thumbprint; fill with raspberry jam (or peach, strawberry, etc). Bake at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes. Sprinkle with powdered sugar. To keep cookies soft store in an air tight container.
Or for a totally different cookie - after shaping into small balls roll in colorful (green and red for Christmas) sugar sprinkles and bake as instructed.
Or instead of shaping into a ball add your favorite chip (chocolate, peanut butter vanilla, peanut butter) and drop by the teaspoonfull on a baking sheet and bake.
Our girls clubs made these at a slumber party. It was fun to make them and fun to eat! These are also good to sell at bake sales since they are so pretty. But you really do need to put them in an airtight container or they'll become very hard _________________ God Is Good All The Time. . .

Double Chocolate Bars
1 package (16 ounces) cream filled chocolate sandwich cookies, crushed
1/2 cup margarine
1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk
2 cups semisweet chocolate chips, divided
Put margarine in 13-in. x 9-in. x 2-in. baking pan. Melt in 350o oven. Add cookie crumbs. Mix well and pat into pan. Combine milk and 1 cup of chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl. Cover and microwave on high for 1 minute or until chips are melted; stir until smooth. Pour over crust. Sprinkle with remaining chips. Bake at 350o for 10 - 12 minutes or until chips are melted. Cool and cut. Best when chilled.
These are so easy and so rich and so good!! _________________ God Is Good All The Time. . .
