    Mini Blessing Baskets

Simple favors for Thanksgiving related banquets and events.
      Materials Needed:

    • Mini Baskets. (You can purchase them in craft or hobby stores. The small chipwood ones work well.)
    • Mini fall flowers
    • Ribbon or raffia
    • Paper in fall colors
    • Scissors
    • Hot Glue Gun

    Directions:
Using the glue gun, decorate the baskets as desired with ribbon or raffia and mini fall flowers. Cut small sqaures out of different colors of paper in fall shades. Put several pieces of paper in each basket. You could even cut them out leaf shaped if you wish but leave a little room to write on them. Then place the "Blessing Basket" Hang Tag on each basket.

    Instructions for Use:

Send them home with your guests. Tell them to write down a praise for each day that goes by until all of their paper is gone. Have them date the note paper and place back into the basket. When they run out of paper tell them to take some quiet time to reflect on their "blessings". If you do this in a ladies group you could give enough papers in each to last until the next meeting and have them bring them back and have a sharing time. This would work well with a ladies Sunday School Class and send them home one week with enough paper for the week and have them bring them back the next Sunday for sharing.

Here is the "Blessing Basket" Hang Tag in text form and there are also hang tags to print either in black and white (so you can use any color paper) and also in color. Just "save as" to your computer. Bring into your publishing program and fit as many on a page to print as possible. If you print them directly from the web they will turn out a lot smaller than shown.

    Blessing Basket Poem:

    Fill me up
    once a day
    write a blessing
    so you can say,
    "Thank you Lord
    One blessing more-
    You've given me
    From your rich store"

Just click on the tag to find the page to print.
