My husband, Phil and I have been married over 20 years. I thank the Lord for such a wonderful husband and best friend. We met while attending college at Tennessee Temple University in Chattanooga, Tennessee. We were married on December 20, 2025 at Sandusky Baptist Temple in Sandusky, Ohio by my pastor at the time, Dr. Roger Green (who is now at Grace Baptist Church, Middletown, Ohio). My husband had lost his job just a few days before we got married and the only ones that knew it was Phil, myself, and Pastor Green, so when he got to the "better for worse...for richer for poorer" part, we all had a chuckle.

Needless to say, God has provided for us every step of the way. Sometimes not as we would have chosen, but in the way the the Lord saw fit. Each day the Lord gives us more grace in our lives and in our marriage as well so we are indeed thankful. I am thankful the most for how Phil and I are the best of friends and have remained that way over these 20 years and how that friendship continues to grow richer.
