    Spring Kiss Flower

Wanted to perk up the plain Hershey's® Kiss Rose into a Spring flower. Here's the outcome:) Basically it's the same Kiss Rose that's been around awhile but I added a layer of gathered cellophane before I wrapped the stem with floral tape in order to make it look like a spring flower with petals.

      Supplies:
    • Spring Colors Hershey's® Kisses
    • Spring Colors Cellophane
    • Heavy Gage Floral Wire
    • Floral Tape (green)
    • Hot Glue Gun
    • Silk Floral Leafs (usually found in wedding craft supplies)
      Directions:

    1. First cut four 4 inch circles of cellophane and set aside
    2. Take two Hershey's® Kisses and invert on top of each other with a dot or two of hot glue. Do not overglue or you will have a gap in your 'bud'. You can instead use 2 sided tape if you desire.
    3. Form a 'stem' by taking a piece of the heavy gage wire and placing into one tip of the 'bud', going into the kiss far enough to hold but do not let it protrude out the top.
    4. Take one of the cellophane circles and wrap from top to bottom over 'bud', gathering up excess cellophane and twisting it around the wire.
    5. Begin wrapping bottom of 'bud' with floral tape over the top of the excess cellophane. Pinch each remaining cellophane circles in the middle and twist the bottom approximately one inch up from the pinched middle.
    6. Attach each pinched end around bottom of 'bud' wrapping onto the stem with floral tape to for petals. Continue Wrapping 'stem' with floral tape.
    7. Add the floral leaves to the stem.
    8. Roll up the bottom of the 'stem' with a pencil.
