• Candles. Wrap up with tulle and ribbons.
• Feminine Cloth Handkerchiefs
• Individual small potted plants.Cover the outsides in floral wrap or pretty wrapping paper tied up with ribbons or raffia.
• Paint small terra cotta pots (check out your craft stores for stencils or ideas). Put individual plants in them. Tie raffia around the outside for an extra touch.
• Paint or purchase small bird houses. Decorate with ribbons or raffia and small silk florals. Put hang tags on them that say "Our mothers are very tweet!" along with the name of your church.
• Put your own verse or saying in small store bought picture frames.
• Check out your local Christian bookstore. You might find lapel pins, writing pens, or small books that would be suitable.
• Knick knacks such as porcelain bells. Be sure to check out your import stores for items like this.
• Country or Victorian angels. Check out the local craft stores or specialty shops for ideas.
