Posted 02/10/07 ![]() WANTED Western Game Make Wanted posters with various descriptions and hang them throughout your event place. Have someone play the role of "Sheriff" for the evening. Give her a basket full of $100,000 Grand candy bars or instead you could use some small door prizes to hand out. (You can usually purchase the small size $100,000 Grand Bars several to a package at Walmart.) Type out your list of Wanted Poster descriptions and give a copy to your Sheriff. Make sure you give your Sheriff a hat and badge to wear:) Have your Sheriff stand in one designated spot so that your ladies can easily find her. Instruct your group of ladies to look at the Wanted posters. Let them know that they can either turn themselves in or find another lady that matches the description on the poster and take them to the Sheriff. If they take someone with them they must tell that lady, "I'm taking you in!" and what they are being taken in for (the description from the Wanted Poster) and then they must make their way to the Sheriff. They must tell the Sheriff what "crime" was committed (the description from the Wanted Poster). The Sheriff then marks that Wanted description off of her list. To make it a little easier for your Sheriff you could number the Wanted posters and let the ladies give the number as well as the "crime". When someone has turned in a Wanted Woman or when they have turned themself in, the Sheriff then gives them a "reward". Make sure your ladies know that only one reward will be paid for each poster so they must hurry to collect. You can decide (according to your budget:) how many rewards you want to limit each lady on receiving. Make sure you instruct your ladies to ask questions of each other to find out information. This will get everyone talking and interacting with each other. Set a time limit if you need to. You know your group of ladies best, so you can make up more appropriate "Wanted" descriptions for your posters and also decide on how many posters you'd like to use. These are here to give you some ideas.
