Candy Favors


Hershey's Hugs and Kisses

Fill up teacups or coffee mugs with Hershey's Hugs and Kisses. You could also use miniature terra cotta pots. Using tulling or cellophane, tie up with ribbons and attach the following poem on a hang tag. Use the spring wrapped Hersheys Kisses for spring and the holiday wrapped ones for Christmas. You could also use Christmas mugs for Christmas favors. Aso decorating the terra cotta pots with Christmas designs is another idea.

Our hugs and kisses we should share,
To show others that we care.

These hugs and kisses I'd like to send,
To one I consider a true and great friend.

And so it is that these are sent your way,
With hopes and prayers that you have a great day!

Mints

You can type out the following "Mint" message on a piece of cardstock or use the printable below. Tape on a peppermint or a peppermint patty to the corner for a small favor or you could fill up a teacup, etc. as in the Hugs and Kisses favor using wrapped peppermints.

I "mint" to call and thank you,
but my time is in demand.

I "mint" to say "I love you,"
but I knew you'd understand.

I "mint" to send you flowers,
but they cost so much you know.

I "mint" to pray for you today,
but I had some place to go.

I "mint" to say "Forgive me,"
But that's so hard to do.

And I really "mint" to tell you this,
"I have a mint of a friend in you!"

Mounds Candy Bars

Using a Mounds candy bar, tie up with raffia or ribbon (like a present) and place on one of the following sayings on hang tags. You could also fill up containers (as in Hugs and Kisses above) using miniature Mounds bars.

You mean "mounds" to the Lord.

Jesus loves you "mounds"!

When troubles seem several "mounds" high, remember God is still in control.


Chocolate Coins

Use several chocolate coins (the ones you find wrapped in the foil papers) and tie them up in a piece of tulling (approximately 8 inch round) using ribbons. Place hang tag on with the following.

Sisters-in-Christ are one of the great treasures in life

"For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also." Matthew 6:21

You could use this verse for the "gold" wrapped coins.
"But he knoweth the way that I take: when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold." Job 23:10
